Samuel Wang

I’m a graduate User Experience Designer with a strong background in Business and Design. Melbourne is my home, but I’m an avid traveler who loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures. (Ask me about the time I went hunting durian with a native tribe in the Malaysian jungle at 3 AM or when I photographed and interviewed 1,000 strangers!)

Whether it’s improving usability for everyday things or driving business growth I love blending creative design with smart business strategies to make awesome user experiences. I gained my knowledge at Swinburne University, diving into concepts like double diamond, design thinking, business model canvas, and developing MVPs.

What truly set my university experience apart were the extracurricular opportunities to work with amazing partners like Nike, Metro Trains Melbourne, Lumberjack Caravans, and War on Wasted Talent. These experiences allowed me to put theory into practice, tackle real-world challenges, and collaborate with diverse teams. I also enjoyed competing in and winning hackathons and startup incubator challenges, which further sharpened my skills and creativity.

As a recent graduate, I’m excited to find my first full-time role in design where I can bring a fresh perspective and good vibes, and work with great people to continue growing in my career.
